Moscow mayor urges residents to limit travel, declares ‘non-working’ Monday

MOSCOW — Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin warns the situation in the capital is “difficult,” as forces of the Wagner mercenary group moves toward Moscow to oust Russia’s military leadership.
“The situation is difficult. I ask you to refrain from traveling around the city as much as possible,” Sobyanin says in a statement, warning of possible road closures and announcing Monday was a “non-working” day.
